Esperance to Albany 1000

Well most of this post is still in Esperance but we were heading for Albany. Had to share some of the beautiful scenery for those of you who haven't been before. And if you haven't, you should!!

I can't remember what day this was but it rained the entire night and all that day. It didn't really bother us because it's been a while since we've seen any and it wasn't cold.
We walked up lots of tracks like this....
To turn around and see spectacular scenery like this!
We stopped to get a cache at the Pink Lake in Esperance but unfortunately it was pink that day but there was this lovely maggie who wasn't moving for anyone...so I just had to take his picture.
Some of the remaining Rabbit Proof Fence
We did a cache here...not really sure why someone would build a dutch windmill out in the middle of no-where but this dog kept us entertained for a while. He was just like Bud with the ball and kept bringing it back for us to throw or kick again and again.
This cache was called Doin' the Crocodile Rock at Millars Point, a very beautiful area.
Lovely rock formations.
On the same day we finally got to our 1000 cache find. We were pretty happy!
It was such a lovely spot we stopped for lunch and I took HEAPS of photo's of these pelicans.
